THE ROCO OPTION- WE ARE NOW TEST-OPTIONAL:
Applicants to Rosemont College now have the option of submitting the SAT or ACT test scores or choosing to apply with the RoCo Option (test-optional). The RoCo Option is for students who feel their potential for academic success is not accurately captured by standardized test scores.

Students who are interested in applying to Rosemont with the RoCo Option must meet the following:
  • Have a cumulative, weighted high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher
  • Interview required (offered on-campus, Google Hangouts, Skype or FaceTime)
      • Once you select the RoCo Option on the Rosemont application and submit, you will see a pop-up calendar where you can schedule the day, time and method (offered on-campus, Google Hangouts, Skype or FaceTime) of your interview.
Students who are interested in the Honors program can also apply with the RoCo Option.

Once you have selected the RoCo Option on your application, and have submitted it, you cannot change it.  This also applies for students who submit their test scores and then may want to apply test-optional. Once you submit your application with your choice (submitting test scores or applying with the RoCo Option), it cannot be changed.

Please note:
  • Home-schooled and International applicants cannot select the RoCo Option and must submit test scores.
  • If you have sent your test scores to Rosemont, but applied with the RoCo Option, we will not consider your tests scores in the admissions review process.
  • Students who apply with the RoCo Option are considered for merit based scholarships.

Don't forget, once you submit your
application, you will not
be able to change this answer!
Thank you for selecting RoCo Option! Once you submit your application, you will be redirected to Rosemont College's Event Site where you can select a date and time for your interview.
Please note that Google Hangouts will require a Google Account and an admissions counselor will send you your unique link to the Hangout 5 minutes prior to your scheduled interview.
